Winter solstice, with its chilly mornings, warm evenings, and the enchantment of dazzling lights that transform your house into a merry wonderland. Commence from the Very Top – Roofline Magic
It all begins with the rooftop lights. Plastic clips designed for roofing and gutters are strong, windproof, and easy to remove in January; they are a better alternative to nails or staples that could harm your home. Before you climb up, make sure your lights are untangled. Having to untangle a knot the size of a wreath is enough to dampen your festive cheer.
Take Care of Those Trees
It takes time to wrap a tree, but the reward is worth it. I really recommend it. Lights should be spaced evenly as you work your way up the trunk, starting at its base. Lightweight and producing just the right amount of light, mini LEDs are ideal. You want your yard to have an exquisite look without being too flashy. Keep from putting too much on. Draw inspiration from the tree’s organic form.
Even Bushes Deserve Care
Be sure to include your shrubs! A time-saver in this case are net lights. Lay them out flat and drape them over your bushes; there’s no need to twist and weave them like a scarf.
Incorporate Safely
Be sure to check your power sources and only use extension cords that are rated for outside use. Put safety first, then shine. Anyone doesn’t want a light show that involves a short circuit.
